Steve qualified as a Physiotherapist in Edinburgh in 1994 and, from an early stage in his career, specialised in the area of Neurological Physiotherapy in the NHS.

He worked for 5 years in the areas of Neurological/Stroke rehabilitation and went on to manage NHS Community Physiotherapy services in Inner-City Manchester.

A change in career path ,15 years ago , led to Steve undertaking a four year Professional Training programme in the Feldenkrais Method, down in Sussex. This in turn led to a move up-to Cumbria and the development of his private practice in the areas of  Neurological Physiotherapy/Feldenkrais with both Adults and Children.

Steve's developing private practice included One to One sessions and workshops /classes in the South Cumbria Area.

Due to  the COVID pandemic Steve put a pause to his Private Practice and went back to full-time working  in the NHS as a Paediatric Specialist Physiotherapist and then Clinical Lead Physiotherapist in the stroke ward in Blackpool.

As of January 2025 Steve has cut his hours in the NHS down to 4 days a week and he will , once more ,  be available for One to One clinic sessions at Synergy Health Kendal.

He will also be running group classes and workshops online and at live venues locally.
